Absolutely loved this place. I ordered the vegetable flat rice noodles, which reminded me a bit of drunken noodles—but lighter and perfectly balanced. The noodles were slightly narrower than classic chow fun, yet the flavor was incredible: fresh, savory, and cooked just right. What really stood out was the hospitality. You can tell this is a family-owned restaurant—warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal without feeling rushed. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of care. If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food with a peaceful vibe and heart behind it, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Szechuwan Garden has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for years. I believe they changed owners in the last 5 years and everything has improved. The waitress Juan (pronounced Jen) is lovely and a great waitress. Her personality is second to none and she will take good care of you. John, the waiter is also very nice, as well as Amy at the front desk. The food is totally delicious! The cashew nut chicken is my newest favorite and I crave it several times per week. Huge portions of food for a very good price. Check this place out if you haven't already. Deserving of more than 5 stars.

Within 1 week, I visited them 3 times. Probably the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Simi Valley area. Price is also reasonable. Service is friendly & attentive. Would recommend anyone who need a "Chinese-fix" if you are in Simi Valley.

This is my go-to Chinese Restaurant in Simi Valley, and I love the food! I had my favorite, the House Special Spicy Noodle Soup, Dinner Size (Extra Spicy.) Consistently delicious, full of meat, noodles and spices ... served up hot and spicy. I look forward to my next visit.

We’ve been coming here for years and I have to say the food is excellent. It’s very consistent. The potstickers are awesome, my daughter says, and the Kung pow chicken is amazing! We will continue to come back. If you’ve never been here, you’ve gotta come give it a shot.
